Tuesday Thoughts: Mistakes are what makes us human and are often unavoidable. Try as much as we must it's our human nature that will make us misunderstand, misread, misspeak, etc. When you make a mistake it's what you do about it that counts most. Owning up to the mistake, making amends and learning from them is one of the best way to try and right your wrongs. However, constantly mulling over the mistake over and over again is like carrying around a dead corpse. It just fouls up your thinking and is unnecessary. It can really hurt your image, self-confidence and ability to lead others. Yes, own your mistake and remember it-- so you can try not to repeat it is Constructive. Constantly beating yourself up over it is destructive to your mindset! Let the guilt go!
