Today, I had the pleasure of catching up with a former manager who I reported to at SDG&E years ago. It was a fantastic conversation, reminding me of the powerful influence truly great leaders can have. Even after 12 years, the skills and guidance she provided continue to shape my approach to work today. She fostered a collaborative environment that encouraged innovation and the ability to be yourself, whether you were successful or fell flat on your face.
