🚶♀️ This is me walking the talk. This week I had a brilliant coaching session (me being the coachee) that gave me a whole new perspective on something that had been holding me back. I’d been struggling with this *thing* for a while and it was starting to get all consuming. At the coaching session, I came clean about this mental block and once I opened up, it was like a weight had been lifted off my shoulders. My coach said something that really struck a chord with me and I’ll paraphrase it here for you in case it helps you too. "The amount of time and energy you’re putting into this *thing you’re worried about* is actually what’s holding you back from *doing the thing* that’s going to solve the *thing you’re worried about*". 💡 I was like, ‘holy dooley,’ that’s it! I realised I should be redirecting my precious time and energy to doing the thing that’s going to solve my dilemma! As a coach, I can put my hand up and say that coaches need coaches too. We need help with getting past our own blocks and achieving our goals too. ⚡ I make sure I walk the talk because if I’m going to work with a coach, I’d feel better knowing that they practise what they preach too. 🙂 If you’d like support with shedding that *thing* that’s weighing on your mind so that you can finally breathe easier and get back to leading with confidence, DM me for a virtual coffee chat. It’s completely free and you’ll leave feeling better and brighter about your next steps! --------------------------------------------------------------------------- ✴ I help women leaders unlock their full potential and build resilience so that they take pride in having a fulfilling career. 💡 Sign up to my email newsletter to receive strategies and practical tips to help you carve out a fantastic leadership career: https://lnkd.in/eXJfqmCx

✨️ Embrace Your Authenticity for Success! 🚀 🎖"Be your authentic self to thrive. Connect from the heart, provide hope, and help." - Ayo Adenuga 🤔 What do we truly want to be, and who do we aspire to become? It's essential to ask ourselves these questions and reflect on whether we're presenting our authentic selves or wearing masks to fit societal expectations. Living authentically is the key to a fulfilled life. 👩🏽⚕️In my experience as a public health professional and Maxwell Certified Leadership Speaker, Coach, and Trainer, I've witnessed the power of authenticity in fostering meaningful connections and achieving impact. There are three ways we often show up: 1. Authentic self 2. Adaptive self 3. Performing self ✅️ Choosing to live in our authentic selves leads to clarity, productivity, and overall well-being. 😔 Conversely, straying from authenticity can result in indecision, confusion, and even burnou🥶🔥. ⚛️ As a relational person, my passion lies in inspiring and equipping individuals and organizations to tap into their full potential. My directors, colleagues, and friends have often said communication and implementation is my super power🎖🚀. ✨️Let's embrace authenticity, connect authentically, and make a positive impact together! 💪 #Authenticity #LeadershipDevelopment #ImpactfulConnections #iealmpactConsulting

BE the LIGHT for YOURSELF. Extend that light to others. We celebrate many clients who have received and accepted new jobs when we partner together. One client was lost in her life and career. She was afraid of making a career change because she didn't know what she wanted and sad because she was stuck in her life direction. There was no one she could talk to. I asked her what she wanted, what thrilled her in her dreams of future and what would stretch her. In our coaching partnership, we co-created a blueprint for her life and career that built confidence and clarity: · Career playbook of her 60-second elevator pitch, power stories, power words, interview savvy, networking plan with advocates and sponsors, and jobs that gave her energy · Personal playbook of her values, strengths, wellness routines, mission and principles · 1-5 year life plan -- her Intentional Future ™ · Live Fuller ® practices including space, time energy, compassion, gratitude and relationships · Emotional fitness routines while elevating her influence, negotiation and conflict resolution brand She’s living her Intentional Future™ with self-compassion, gratitude and a life now well defined as she reflected, “I get to be a LIGHT in the world as I live my life on purpose.” With gratitude for Bill Burnett and Tim Clark, founder of Business Model You, LLC for their resources (see comments for info) that shape your life destiny and career. I was reminded recently that we are the average of the five people we spend the most time with. Here's how to choose wisely:👇 This is a principle that renowned motivational speaker Jim Rohn is famous for developing and promoting. It highlights the significance of making conscious choices about your environment and relationships to foster personal growth and success. Here's What Jim taught 1. Self-Evaluation Look at who you spend time with: • Are they lifting you up or dragging you down? • Do they inspire you to be better? • Are they aligned with your goals and values? 2. Identifying Role Models and Positive Influences Find people who inspire you: • Seek mentors who have achieved what you aspire to. • Follow thought leaders who share valuable insights. • Join communities that foster growth and positivity. 3. Building and Nurturing Relationships Cultivate strong bonds: • Invest time in relationships that matter. • Offer value and support to your network. • Be open to feedback and willing to grow together. 4. Setting Boundaries Protect your energy: • Limit time with negative influences. • Say no to draining activities and people. • Prioritize your well-being and personal growth. 5. Continuous Reevaluation Keep assessing your circle: • Regularly reflect on your relationships. • Adjust your circle as you evolve. • Stay committed to surrounding yourself with high performers. Remember, your environment shapes your success. Choose wisely and elevate your life. Who are the people that inspire and elevate you? 👥 #solopreneurs #businessgrowth #PersonalBranding

1wImposter syndrome is something many of us encounter at some point in our careers, no matter our achievements or experience. That persistent feeling of "not belonging" or fearing we aren’t capable of meeting our goals can make the workplace challenging. I bet more people have felt this than will even admit it. (Am I right?!). Recognizing the symptoms of imposter syndrome so darn important. Once recognized, we can actually address the negative thought patterns. We can re frame our thoughts. And begin to see our true value and accomplishments. This is SO Critical. Whether you are writing your resume. Trying to land a promotion. Or just trying to feel fulfilled in your current role. 💪
