CSBP’s Prill & ANE Process Lead, Andrew Brady and Product Support Engineer, Ammonium Nitrate, Michael R. were awarded for their Innovation at Wesfarmers Chemicals, Energy & Fertilisers Thanks Awards. As part of the Mining Solutions Team, Andrew and Michael created ANE’s new Spinifex 70 series range, which allows customers to customise their ANE for performance or cost. It provides significant cost savings and gives CSBP a clear marketing advantage. The range uses much less fuel than the previous version and has been formulated to significantly reduce scope 1 emissions for customers and scope 3 emissions for WesCEF. This innovative solution could also be the lowest carbon intensive ANE produced in the world, subject to classification. Both Andrew and Michael note the Thanks Award is wonderful recognition and acknowledgement for all their hard work.
