A bit late notice but who doesn't love a deadline? The Australian Government is seeking public input on the renewal of the Australian Animal Welfare Strategy (AAWS) which lapsed in 2014. The survey closes 4 pm AEST tomorrow. So have a read of their proposed strategies and make comments/suggestions! Here is my personal adjustment to their vision statement "To establish an Australian animal welfare system that upholds the welfare of all animals, physically, emotionally and cognitively. Through open discussion with all stakeholders; facilitated by experts in the animal welfare field. To identify national priorities and create actions and outcomes that will elevate the Australian animal welfare standards to a level of international excellence" https://lnkd.in/gXmzHgwt
