Imagining and starting R&D on Misson Critical Communication Technology for Accident Free Indian Railways. Speeds are increasing and number of Trains are increasing. Here is a need to communicate real time to the Driver or System to reduce speed or apply Brakes. Imagine few situations : ■ Damaged Wheel ■ Fire in the Coach / Wagon ■ Rail Fracture Do we have time and can we miss the message/ data ? What is the purpose of Mission Critical Communication Technology ? : ■ Data must reach ( Reliability must be hundred percent ) and ■ Data must reach in lowest possible time ( for example One million second ) IISc and IISc Startup for Railways are committed to innovate all technologies required to make Accident Free Indian Railways by 2030.
