SafeCheck Advanced Food Safety Certification-Accomplished I am pleased to inform that I have successfully completed the SafeCheck Advanced Food Safety Certification Program. Getting this certificate was a very fulfilling experience, enhancing my knowledge in food safety, safe handling methods, and best practices necessary in an attempt to put a halt to foodborne infections. Where food is concerned, safety regulations have to be strictly adhered to in order to protect all workers and customers alike from possibly getting sick. The topics learned from this course include but are not limited to: How food is handled and stored safely to avoid contamination. Being able to identify and avoid the most common hazards regarding food safety. Having a clean and hygienic working environment. The identification of foodborne microorganisms and how to minimize that risk. Ensuring compliance with the law about health and safety. This certificate, valid from May 2024 to May 2029, will allow me to apply such abilities in my current job and continue with this career for that five-year period. Food safety is a very important concept if working within the food industry or otherwise preparing foods in any capacity. I will make sure to apply all I have learned in this course to maintain high standards and ensure that all are in a safe environment.

To meet the growing demand for trained food safety professionals in industry and government, Egypt's National Food Safety Authority (NFSA) aims to recruit and build a competent food safety workforce. One of the initiatives to help achieve this goal involves the creation of a specialized certificate program in food safety. IFPTI is helping to develop this program under the direction of TAIB – a USDA Food for Progress project of Land O'Lakes Venture37. This certificate program will provide graduates with the essential knowledge and skills needed to navigate careers in the food industry and public food control sectors, including roles at the NFSA. Program Overview The 30-hour certificate program will introduce students to key concepts such as food safety regulations, quality assurance, and risk management. It will cover topics like microbiology, foodborne pathogens, and hazard analysis critical control points (HACCP) system – including Preventive Controls. The curriculum is also being designed to practice skills at food facilities throughout the supply chain. These experiences will allow students to apply their knowledge in real-world settings and network with industry professionals. Students will also explore roles at the NFSA, where professionals work to develop, implement, and enforce food safety laws. By offering this certificate, universities can equip graduate students with the expertise needed to succeed in a growing and essential field, addressing the critical need for food safety experts in both private and public sectors.

FOOD SAFETY [ INDIA ] - Mission: "One Street, One Certified Food Safety Inspector" Safe food is essential for a healthy life, yet many citizens and professionals in India lack awareness of food safety regulations. Consequently, unsafe and unhealthy products often enter our diets. Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) is tasked with ensuring food safety, but it faces significant challenges due to a limited number of Food Safety Officers overseeing a population of over 1.4 billion people. With approximately 10,000 food safety officers in the country, building a robust food safety culture is a daunting task. To address this gap, Centre for Public Health and Food Safety (CPHFS), an entity registered for CSR activities under the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India, has launched the mission: "One Street, One Food Safety Inspector." This initiative aims to empower food professionals, food handlers, students, and the general public in cultivating a culture of food safety across India. Event Details: Date: 23.11. 2024 Time: 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM Location: Online (Zoom) Registration Link [ Limited Seat ]- https://lnkd.in/g22iWUxN Participants who successfully complete the training and assessment will receive a certificate from CPHFS. Please note that this course is not accredited or endorsed by the FoSTaC training program. For more information or to register, please contact us via email at info@cphfs.com or WhatsApp at +91-9891071949. We invite you to join CPHFS and support in our mission to enhance food safety culture in India. Together, we can make a significant impact.
