#Chinese researchers have unveiled a #radarsystem so advanced that it can track not one, but as many as ten #hypersonicmissiles simultaneously, each hurtling through the atmosphere at the incredible speed of #Mach20, twenty times the speed of sound. The innovation lies in the radar's use of "#lasers" to transmit information between key components at the speed of light. This approach overcomes the limitations of conventional radar systems, in which the movement of high-speed electrons can potentially damage circuit boards. By integrating #photonics, the new radar is able to generate and process more complex #microwave signals, enabling for the first time the precise measurement of objects at very high speeds.

⚡🖥️🧪We analyzed the evolution of the #kinesin and β-#tubulin dipole moments (DM) under an #ElectricField (EF), finding that the DM magnitude and angle increased significantly, especially in the X and -X directions. Kinesin detachment occurred when the DM magnitude increased by 100–400 D, with the angle shifting by 40–80°. We found that EF-induced torque, not just linear pulling, was critical for detachment. Further analysis showed that rotational work on kinesin dominated in the X and -X directions, while translational work primarily affected the β-tubulin C-terminus.
