Ye bheed hai - yaha tarq nae jazbaat hain. The crowd doesn't have a mind, the crowd doesn't have logic, the crowd just has emotions. In front of a crowd, every law and order, every politician gives up. Yet, if we are a part of the crowd, even we can't think much. This paradox has often made me ponder our human tendencies. We, as a species, give so much value to our tribes, to our collectives. We thrive in groups, we find comfort in shared experiences, and yet, we resist the idea of becoming a part of the 'crowd'. Is it so bad to be a part of a crowd, especially if we resonate with the emotion of the crowd? Certainly, unchecked emotions can lead to chaos, but at the same time, the collective emotion of a crowd can also lead to powerful social change. It can create a sense of unity, a sense of belonging that can be transformative. Perhaps the key is not in shunning the crowd, but in acknowledging and harnessing its power responsibly. After all, every social movement, every revolution started with a crowd resonating with a common emotion. What is your perspective on this?
