Our estate’s Bousquet Reserve Organic and Gaia Organic & Biodynamic wines have already reduced their bottle weight by up to 29%! We’ve taken a fresh look at our packaging and bottling process, looking for new ways to enhance recyclability and use fewer materials along the way. Sustainability is at the heart of everything we do ❤️ Long before the buzz word, we decided that the only wine we wanted to drink, and therefore sell, was from growers who really cared about the environment. People whose main goal - apart from making spectacular wines - was to leave the land better than they found it. Since then, we've worked with hundreds of people who've single handedly reintroduced species of insects and birds to their terroirs. They've put in bat boxes and planted grass and wild flowers in and around the vines. They've eschewed chemical fertilisers and pesticides in favour of a low-intervention approach to farming. When it comes to shipping and distributing these unwieldy, heavy and breakable bottles, we've tried to find solutions that have the lowest possible impact on our world, including using 100% fully recyclable packaging, made from recycled materials. We've worked with growers to help them to use lighter bottles wherever possible, and we only work with transporters who meet our sustainability goals.
