Hey Coach, Coaching is my calling, and I'm drawn to it with unwavering enthusiasm. Besides motherhood, I've never felt such a deep passion and connection to a pursuit. My innate qualities make me a natural fit for coaching: - I see greatness in others and am driven to help them unlock it - I'm approachable, relatable, and personable, making connections effortless - I'm bold and confident, empowering others to embrace their own strengths - I articulate thoughts and ideas with clarity and precision - I'm patient and compassionate, creating a safe space for growth - I'm honest and trustworthy, fostering strong relationships built on integrity While I'm not one to boast, I recognize these qualities as a calling to pour into others and make a meaningful impact. Coaching isn't just a desire; it's my purpose.

"You're a coach? That must be so easy!" If only they knew... Coaching challenges you like no other. But, it's still a beautiful journey. Here's some simple wisdom to guide you: 1. Make it about them. Coaching isn't about you. It's about your clients. 2. Be curious. Ask questions, without giving them the answer. Your clients have their own answers. 3. Listen to understand. Don't listen just to reply - listen to truly understand your client's needs. 4. Empower them. Teach your clients how to fish, so they can feed themselves for good. 5. Celebrate their progress. Your clients will appreciate your support and see how far they've come. 6. Be patient. Results take time. Don't expect your clients to reach their goals overnight. 7. Keep evolving. To be a great coach, you need to keep learning and growing. You're a coach because you want to help people. Never forget why you started, and always believe in their potential.

I avoided getting caught up in a pointless debate about 𝐜𝐨𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠! The idea was, that men can’t effectively coach women because they can't fully understand their experiences. I believe coaching is fundamentally different. Here’s a 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 to explain my perspective: I had a coaching session with a coach in training, part of their ICF certification. This person knew nothing about my job, my skills, or my business. And yet, in just 30 minutes, I gained: - Clarity about my situation - A sense of relief and direction - A well-formulated plan of action The magic? The coach didn't need to know the details of my professional life. Instead, she skillfully guided me to unlock the solutions that were already within me. This is what great coaching is all about: helping people tap into their own greatness. True coaching is not about understanding every aspect of someone's life—it's about helping them realize the answers they already hold.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗜 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴? Someday's I have to pinch myself when I think about what I do for a living 🤯 On the day's I am coaching I couldn't be happier, because my days consist of: ⭕ Helping people connect to the things that are 'actually' important to them. ⭕ Helping people make sense of things. ⭕ Helping people get clarity on their goals & ambitions. ⭕ Helping people 'think differently' - often removing unhelpful perspectives and restricted ways of thinking. ⭕ Helping people connect dots they couldn't connect on their own. ⭕ Helping people turn insight into action. .... Coaching 101 is helping people take responsibility for their circumstances - and accountability for their actions. The art of good coaching is challenging them in a way that they want to. What else would you add? What does good coaching look like to you? ..... #coaching #coaching101 #lovewhatyoudo

3 months ago, I started a Master's in Coaching at Kingstown College [ I decided to do this because I had a coach when I was going through a tough time, and I know the value that coaching can bring to someone's life.] Now, I want to do the same and help others. Here are the biggest learnings I've had so far from my coaching classes, which I believe are also very useful for life in general: ✅ Listen more than you talk. People need to be heard. ↳Be comfortable with silence. Silence in a conversation is key; it lets people think and reflect. ✅Follow the flow of the conversation. ↳Sometimes we prepare and have very structured ways, but when we follow the flow of the conversation is when we truly succeed. ✅Don't give advice if nobody asks you for it. ↳Everyone has their own answers inside, and your situation is likely very different from theirs. Help people find their own answers. I am learning a lot in this course, and I am very excited to put all of this into practice as soon as possible. 🔔 DM me if you are looking for a coach!

“I’m not sure coaching can help me.” If you’ve never worked with a coach before, it’s quite common to be unclear about how coaching can help you. After all, you’re bright, capable, and you’ve achieved so much on your own. Why can’t you solve your own problems? The longer you struggle with a challenge, the harder it becomes to see it from a different perspective and come up with new and creative ways to solve it. That’s the coaching superpower. Adding a professional coach to your thinking process expands your perspective and creates new opportunities for growth. Why not try it? DM me to chat.

What do you think about coaching? Is it something you would ever consider? Here are Yvans thoughts... "Jacquie, Here is my take on the benefits of the coaching sessions. For me it has been a real opportunity to assess my own thinking process. The fact that you always left me a lot of space to verbalise what I may have assumed too obvious helped me discover my real motivation for doing or delaying doing something. The process of explaining something to someone who is truly listening and ask targeted questions is something that is rare in a “normal” context. Usually people don’t really listen and just prepare their next argument. Nobody gets the “space“ to truly explain the logic of one’s view. So the coaching enables that. Thanks again for your support and guidance. Will let you know how things develop. All the best. Yvan, London, UK " Isn't it amazing that we don't give ourselves the time or space to think things through properly? Coaching is not about providing answers, giving advice or telling people what to think. It's about creating a safe space where people can explore, discover, and connect deeply with their own insights and truths. Coaching is listening, questioning, and reflecting. It's an art that believes in the immense potential each individual holds and recognizes that sometimes, all you need is a nudge to see your own capability. Has coaching others or being coached nudged you towards uncovering a truth you hadn't seen before?

To me, coaching is about commitment. Sometimes, I’m more committed to my clients’ growth than they are, and that’s okay. When they hit a rough patch or start to doubt themselves, I’m there to help them stay on track. Think of it like a GPS - you might take a few wrong turns, but I’m here to help you reroute and find your way back to your destination. I often tell my clients, "I’m not going to let you settle for less than what you’re capable of." I want them to see their potential and be accountable to it. Because when you’re surrounded by someone who believes in you, even on the days you don’t believe in yourself, you can achieve things you never thought possible. That’s the real power of coaching. If you'd like to find out more about my coaching services, pop me a DM. Let's chat.
