I left my once-dreamed, well-paid job because I wanted to build my own business. I thought I was brilliant and would make it all happen in just a few months. What an idiot - I hugely underestimated the challenge. Would I do it again? Hell, yes! Why? When I turn 50, I want to pause, look back, and tell myself: "I CREATED this!" Is it going to be worth it? It has to be - I just don’t see another way. Every single thing my team and I do today is building into something much bigger tomorrow. That’s the compound effect at work! The biggest question I ask myself every single day is: How can I create so much value for our clients that they *celebrate* working with us? I don’t think I’ll ever find the perfect answer, but the journey to figure it out? That’s worth more than the answer itself. Now, why am I sharing this? Honestly, no idea. Keep scrolling! 😊

I love sharing #ClientWins. I think it’s one of the most productive ways to identify common challenges, real and actionable solutions, and learn from each other… all while hyping up our clients! 🙌 So I’m going to share a success story about a long-time client of mine who leveraged Working Genius to make some really impactful team optimizations. This team is creative and eager. Full of ideas. On one side, there are the horses chomping at the bit. On the other, there are the donkeys asking about the work and the load it will take to make something happen. That said, when launching new products, offerings, or internal projects, they’ve seen some great success and some failures. After taking the Working Genius assessment, which is aimed at helping teams understand productivity (i.e. how they do work), they had some big AHA moments which yielded incredible realizations about their team, business and how they approach their work. Not only were they able to identify gaps and where past projects went sideways, but they were able to use this information to plan out proactive plans for future work. There is no downside to learning more about how you work or how others on your team work. Being able to learn something new, apply it, and commit to building a better, stronger team is crucial to business development and growth. #teamwork #workinggenius #productivity
