𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗮 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗥𝗲𝗺𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗪𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗳𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗧𝗮𝘅 𝗔𝗺𝗶𝗱 𝗗𝗲𝗰𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗚𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝗢𝗶𝗹 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 India’s finance ministry is evaluating the removal of the windfall tax introduced in July 2022 on domestic crude oil production and fuel exports. The tax, aimed at capturing gains from rising global crude prices, was reduced to zero by September 18, 2023, as oil prices stabilized.
