Interesting expose. Now that you know (that you did not know?) about Pearlman YeC 'SPIRAL' cosmological redshift hypothesis and model, why stay willfully ignorant? Please take a look. It has (much more pure scientific advantage than 'just' it's 5.67 quintillion:1 parsimony advantage over the competing hypothesis current consensus champion SCM-LCDM. SPI-RAL = hyper-dense proto galactic (Stars) Preceded (cosmic) Inflation - cosmological Redshift Attests to the Light therefrom. 🚀 "Through the FIRE: How Facing Death Liberated Life" 🔥 If you’re used to hearing me talk about housing justice or racial equity, this one might surprise you! My recent talk at Fearless FIRE was about something more personal: the journey of facing a cancer diagnosis and discovering the true meaning of L.I.F.E. But if you really know me, you know that alongside my commitment to justice is a passion for dreaming and liberation. In that talk, I shared L.I.F.E.: L: Loving yourself fiercely—radical self-love and self-care. I: Acting with intention—because every day, every moment matters. F: Facing fear—it’s a companion, not a driver. E: Embracing life fully and wholly—living boldly and unapologetically. Adrienne Maree Brown said, “Imagination is one of the spoils of colonization, which in many ways is claiming who gets to imagine the future for a given geography. Losing our imagination is a symptom of trauma. Reclaiming the right to dream the future, strengthening the muscle to imagine together as Black people, is a revolutionary decolonizing activity.” Much like imagination, believing that we can live fully and wholly is itself an act of resistance—a revolutionary way of thinking and being. In a world that constantly limits and constrains, this choice to live, dream, and love without reservation is essential. 👉🏾 I’d love to hear from you: What does it mean to live fully in the face of real-life challenges? What principles guide you? Share in the comments below, and let’s inspire one another! 📽️ Watch the full video here: https://lnkd.in/epdndWNw #ThroughTheFire #FearlessFIRE #LIFE #Resilience #DecolonizedLiving #Transformation #DreamingAndLiberation

No historical era, including this current one, is any more a Golden Era than any other. What makes the past seem particularly golden for some is our absence from it, our individual beliefs & experiences, & our consciously or unconsciously selective memories. Every era has had its wonders & its cruelties. Every era has been brilliant for some & horrific for others. To view any era or its generations as special or better is to blind ourselves to the moment-by-moment breadth & diversity of humanity & human interactions.

There needs to be a shift in the education system. We have a society where the mental health of young people is at a low level. There is a lack of mental health provision and youth services to provide support at key stages of development. Having a positive relationship with school is a key protective factor. Schools can nurture pupils, give them a sense of belonging and help them to value education, through a supportive and inclusive environment. However, a curriculum needs to be engaging, accessible and relevant, meeting the needs of ALL children and young people. We want young people to experience a love of learning and exploration; not faced with a target driven culture. There is a clear need for placing a greater focus on life skills as well as providing the opportunity to explore and discover what is enjoyed and what a young person excels in, at their pace. We are all faced with challenges throughout our lives, which can overwhelm us and have the potential to make life difficult, unhappy and unhealthy; reducing our ability to reach our full potential in all areas of life. Resilience is the way a person responds to, and manages these adverse situations. Adapting to change, in a positive way and to achieve positive outcomes is important to our mental health. Those who develop resilience have a skillset and mind-set to succeed even when faced with challenges. We also need to focus on developing communication skills. There is a generation of young people who have not been afforded the opportunity to learn how to communicate effectively. · If a person lacks the skills of communication this will impact all aspects of life. · Some young people are unable to have a conversation without arguing or without being an active listener. · It is not about level of intelligence, but the ability to express views and to be able to listen to those of others. · Active listening skills are important in communicating. Developing these skills develops empathy, and understanding as well as time to reflect on the situation and the way to respond in an effective manner. · Critical thinking skills are a part of communication enabling a person to articulate their thoughts, listen actively and contribute to discussions and debates. · Someone who is skilled in critical thinking is able to listen, question, analyse, reflect and evaluate. They are problem solvers and realise the importance of understanding different perspectives. Through education young people should have the opportunity to discover what they enjoy, what they are good at, what their aspirations are and to gain: · Confidence · Independence · Social skills · Communication skills, · Critical thinking · Physical, cognitive and emotional skills Keir Starmer
We shouldn't have to imagine.
