🚨 AI, Society, and the Fight for Humanity 🚨 Hello, I am HASE Fiero, Chief Editor at Information Warfare Magazine. As we explore the use of deepfakes to quote historical figures—both living and deceased—we’ve discovered a troubling reality: many people struggle to distinguish between deepfakes and real individuals. For this, I offer a heartfelt apology. Transparency is essential, so we now clearly identify these educational deepfakes with born-and-died dates and other indicators to maintain trust. But today, let’s discuss something even bigger: AI and society. When the Internet was born, it promised to connect humanity, democratize knowledge, and make us collectively smarter. Yet, like any double-edged sword, it now cuts both ways. Instead of fostering critical thinking, it traps us in echo chambers, feeding biases and shielding us from contradicting perspectives. Instead of uniting us, it divides us. And who does it divide us against? The sobering answer: It divides us against each other. The Internet, combined with Artificial Intelligence and open access, still has the potential to uplift humanity. AI can develop critical thinking, dismantle misinformation, and create an enlightened society. But there are forces at play that don’t want this progress. Instead, they aim to weaponize AI to manipulate and control, exploiting fear and division to serve their interests. And here’s the kicker: the billionaires who control AI and the largest tech companies are fully aware of the coming automation wave, one that threatens to displace millions of workers. These same individuals are now embedded in political movements, shaping a technocratic future that could centralize power and wealth even further. So, the question we face is stark: Will we allow this technocratic future to control us, or will we reclaim a future centered on humanity? The tools to break free from propaganda and manipulation are in our hands—AI, critical thinking, and the power of connection. The choice is ours. What kind of future will you fight for? 🌍✨ #InformationWarfare #AIForGood #HumanityFirst #BreakTheChains

This video talks about the real agenda behind today's few large corporations who are involved in AI. IF AI continuously being dominated by just a handful of top trillion dollar companies, under a few elites. Have you ever thought to yourself, 'What would happen to the rest of us?' To these large corporations, the bottom line is just profits and they want to make sure everyone remain adequately fearful of AI so that no one else will be involved other than them. If you listen to the narration from likes of Elon Musk's 'AI is the Existential Threat to Humanity', or Jensen Huang (Nvidia)'s '...forget about your computer science career, don't teach your kids how to code' or even 'AI Godfather', Geoffrey Hinton's 'AI will learn to code itself', etc Yet despite with all their warnings ⚠️ of AI, they were the ones investing, embarking on AI. Don't you think that's a contradictory move? I think, like how Yann LeCun (Convolution Neural Network's inventor) said, "The day we get a single monopoly on AI? THAT's the beginning of the real humanity's existential threat." It's not AI that's the real threat to humanity's existence. It's the top 0.1% human elites.

Will it be the most ordinary of stories on the evening news that warps our world like nothing before it? Imagine this: A reporter stands in a bustling city park, microphone in hand, interviewing locals about a controversial new law. Some passionately support it, others vehemently oppose it. Families picnic on blankets, joggers weave through the crowd, and a street musician's melody drifts on the breeze. All very normal. Nothing attention grabbing. Except… The park, the people, the entire city – it's all a stunningly realistic simulation. Those "citizens" being interviewed? AI so advanced they're unaware of their true nature. They have hopes, fears, and firmly held beliefs about a world that exists solely within the confines of complex algorithms. Only the journalist is "real" – a human avatar asking unscripted questions in this virtual realm. Something like this is going to happen within the next ten years and it will be profound and shake our world to its core for three key reasons… 1️⃣ We’d have created sentient digital entities, blurring the line between biological and artificial life. Do these AIs have rights? What are our responsibilities towards them? 2️⃣ For the first time in history, humans will coexist with intelligences rivalling or surpassing our own. 3️⃣ If we can create simulations indistinguishable from reality, how can we be certain our own world isn't a simulation? The building blocks for this future are already here. Today's AI can generate remarkably human-like text, create photorealistic images, and produce convincing video content. But these are merely the first steps towards a much grander vision. We're standing on the precipice of a transformation more profound than the industrial revolution or the dawn of the internet age. Yet, we remain woefully unprepared for the philosophical, ethical, and practical challenges that lie ahead. The clock is ticking, and this future is racing towards us faster than many may realise. #ai #futureworld #simulations #technology #prediction

Really hard to find someone who expresses my concerns with the #vc industry better than this clip (something I have been saying quietly for years). Good share from Jim Amos. The former leader of #ycombinator #altman simply failed upwards and is an obvious grifter libertarian free-rider. The fact that a prestigious university or deep thinking corporation would believe what he says is frankly a shocking lack of critical thinking. At the same time, there are some useful things about AI, and a binary "good" or "bad" take isn't useful as nuance, which is hard to actually discuss. The core of the problem with AI is the tech industry itself, not AI. https://lnkd.in/eJVWWDBM

In #monitoring #data are everything, therefore #AI is naturally transforming the way we work but, how much should we trust it? As technical director, I am working daily, as many other, to have #AI to do our bidding—supporting workflows, improving efficiency, and enhancing our data-driven processes. Just wanted to share a thought provoking interview by Chris Evans to Stephen Fry. In Greek mythology, #Prometheus gave fire to humans, elevating them from mere toys of the gods to beings with power and potential. This gift made the gods fear their own irrelevance. Today, AI is our own last creation—a creation capable of generating art, music, and knowledge. But what happens if we give it "the spark" of self-awareness? Will humanity, like the gods, fear becoming obsolete? The interview link is below: https://lnkd.in/e8XQ3VMM Murphy Geospatial #Monitoring #AI #TheTrustProblem
