The real tax politics is here we know Nitin Gadkari has done good job in his term and improved road infra in my opinion For instance, a journey from Gurgaon to Jaipur via this Delhi Mumbai expressway, spanning 250km, takes approximately 3.5 hours and incurs a toll tax of Rs. 650 divided by 250km= 2.5rs/km In 100 Rs Petrol you will drive 10Km for which you will have to pay ₹2.5 per km so total you pay additional ₹25 on every ₹100 fuel which makes it 25% toll tax. Indirect Tax - That ₹100 petrol had ~40% tax, so without tax the cost would be ₹60. So to drive 10 km with zero tax you need ₹60 petrol but you end up paying ₹125 because of taxes and to spend ₹125 you need to earn ₹180 before tax. However, the tax implications extend further. To cover the additional Rs. 65 in taxes (25% toll tax plus 40% petrol tax), one must earn Rs. 180 before taxes and we are paying 30% tax for govt to build good roads and govt gives road projects for private firms for higher margins and then they collect 25% tax form the people to drive on that road this makes around 50% Tax we are paying direct and indirectly

“STRIVE to BE WORTH Knowing” “We Should Seek To Be Worth Knowing, Rather Than Well-Known” - “When you are a person who is worth-knowing, you are true to yourself. - You understand your flaws and imperfections. - You are aware of your strengths and authentic power. - Most importantly, you understand how both your flaws and skills interact to create you. - You use this knowledge to your advantage. It is only when we understand ourselves fully that we can go out and impact the lives of those around us.” - “To become a person worth-knowing we must first realize that we are enough. We are enough simply because of who we are. Our worth is not defined by how many activities we are involved in. It is not defined by how many jobs we have or the leadership positions we hold. Although everything we do may add to the person that we are, we will always be enough regardless of the things we do.” - “I believe that it is much greater to be a person worth-knowing to a close group of people who truly know who you are than it is to be well-known by thousands of people who don't know the real you.” - https://lnkd.in/ewybbwb8 Source- original post Read all my posts #MariusPreston

One of the things I’m learning in this season in life comes from Daniel Pink. Figured I would elaborate. It’s easy to get complacent in your current role, especially when you hear how tough the job market is these days. Here’s my advice regardless where you are at in this season of life: block off one hour of self-development on your schedule. Still be flexible on the business needs. But if you need to move that time; still lock it in. Take that Udemy course. Earn that certification. It may be difficult to self start. But I PROMISE you it’ll pay off in the long run.
