Entrepreneurship methods have developed a lot over the last decades. And more is yet to come, with sustainable development and AI just peeking around the corner!! Fortunately we have improved so much on the way we can support and guide starting entrepreneurs. Of course success is never guaranteed, but at least, there are lots more resources we can provide to get more entrepreneurs to success. I remember that when we introduced the Lean approach in Colombia, success rates went up from roughly 10% with the previous Business Plan approach, to roughly 30% with the Lean approach. This was in a big, nationwide technological entrepreneurship program with participants from a wide array of backgrounds. Some of them founded hot startups, others had an impact on their environment, others started SME's, or created self-employment. Entrepreneurship changes lives. 10moI want a comprehensive study showing what percentage of non-tech startups have used lean startups in the last five years. I fear the numbers aren't nearly as high as some would imagine.
