So we have multiple things that you should look at while you're investing in a mutual fund. You should look at the fund manager. He is the backbone of your mutual fund, the past experience he has, the past funds he has managed. You should also look at the stocks he's picking up. If you are doing a thorough analysis, you should look at this top ten stocks. You should look at the top 10 sectors, develop your view about it. Then a lot of times, you know, investors make a mistake where they look at trailing returns, point to point returns. I feel rolling. Returns are a better, you know, are a better indicator for returns of a mutual fund than point to point return. So you should look at rolling returns. You should look at some of the risk factors. So, you know, a lot of publicly available sites have risk factors such as Sortino ratios, sharp ratios, beta, standard deviation of alpha for that matter. So all of these parameters tell you what is the return that the fund manager had generated and how much risk is he taking in his investors. So higher the return. Lower the risk, the better the risk.
