As we address the myriad challenges facing the nursing profession today, it's crucial to recognize that there is no singular solution that fits every scenario. The reality is that each country, state, healthcare system, and even each nursing unit experiences unique issues. Consequently, nurses themselves hold varied perceptions and face different challenges based on their specific roles and environments. For instance, while some may argue there is no nursing shortage, others experience the opposite, and both perspectives can be valid. This discrepancy often depends on factors such as nursing specialties and whether the discussion pertains to bedside nursing. The diversity in advocacy among nurses doesn't signify a lack of unity; rather, it highlights that nurses are championing causes that directly affect their immediate professional environments. Let's continue to support all nursing advocacy, recognizing that our collective small steps forward can lead to significant impacts. Every action counts, and every voice matters as we work towards solutions that acknowledge and address the unique challenges across the spectrum of nursing. #Nurses #NursesOnLinkedin #SupportNurses

One of the things that brings me joy everyday is being closest to those who provide care to our patients, families and the communities we serve. Today I had the pleasure of rounding on the nursing units at Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital with Patricia Laurie, Director of Nursing. It was obvious to me that Trish is an engaged leader who is well respected by her team as the interactions seemed very genuine and authentic. There were many positive stories shared and the pride of the team as they talked about what is working well was very evident. Thank you, Dan Carey, Anne Stewart, Patricia Lurie, Maya Vulaj, Nurse Manager 7N. Maya’s team was overjoyed to share the many ways she supports the team, patients and families. #CorewellHealth #oneteam #Nursing #Magnet5thdesignation
