🔎 The power of combined SEM Raman imaging 🔍 Access essential information on molecular chemistry and structure with the new inLux™ SEM Raman interface for scanning electron microscopes. In this webinar, our scientists will demonstrate how the inLux interface simultaneously collects co-localised Raman spectra and SEM images to give precisely located chemical and structural analysis. Raman imaging provides complementary information to SEM microscopy, such as the chemical bonding in polymers or the identification of contaminants. Using correlated SEM and Raman image overlays, our Raman experts demonstrate how these results can be visualised to give a greater understanding of micro- and nanostructured materials. #Renishaw #Raman #Webinar #ScanningElectronMicroscopes #SeparationScientific #SepSci https://lnkd.in/dDGv4NuG

The ChampioNIR* Drug-Eluting Peripheral Stent System poses a transformational technology designed to improve patient outcomes and procedural success. In a first of its kind hybrid mechanical design, radial support is provided by the metallic component of the stent, whereas longitudinal structure is provided by a bioresorbable polymeric mesh providing unsurpassed flexibility and long-term durability in even the most challenging anatomies. Furthermore, a unique drug-elution paradigm releases drug from the entire cylindrical area of the stent, drastically reducing diffusion distances and allowing, for the first time, therapeutic dosing of a large peripheral vessel with a 'limus' drug for an extended period of time. https://lnkd.in/dUqq3AAs *Investigational device not available for sale.

The Kurt J. Lesker Company (KJLC) and collaborators have made a notable step forward in Plasma Enhanced ALD technology, as detailed in their recent blog post. Their newly patented Ultra-High Purity (UHP) ALD technology introduces significant improvements in controlling oxygen contamination during non-oxide material deposition. They demonstrated this with deposition of high mobility and crystalline Scandium Nitride (ScN). Moreover, the ability to conformally coat such materials in high aspect ratio (HAR) structures is particularly valuable for applications in 3D embedded memory and piezoelectric microelectromechanical systems (piezoMEMS).
