Elia Grid International (EGI) is celebrating its tenth anniversary this year. Over these ten years, solid, cross-disciplinary expertise has been developed to support actors in the Power System sector, whether private companies or public entities such as TSOs and regulators, in their energy transition and/or Power System development. This expertise covers all aspects of these complex systems, including regulatory and market issues, asset management, power system development and operation studies, as well as engineering and project management for large-scale infrastructures. EGI's presence in Europe, Middle East, South East Asia and, more recently, North America, has also strengthened its understanding of the specific characteristics and challenges faced by Power System actors around the world. This is just the beginning of a long journey, given the many challenges and uncertainties that will need to be addressed in the transition to a more sustainable future where Power Systems role is significant. EGI will continue to support the various players in the Power System sector in this energy transition.

🎉 Celebrating a Milestone! 🎉 We are thrilled to celebrate Peter Hanzel‘s 20th anniversary with in our company! Over the past two decades, his dedication, expertise, and commitment have been crutial in our success. Thank you, Peter, for your remarkable contributions and unwavering loyalty. We are sure we have a lot of achievements and growth still together in front of us! Curious to know why Peter stayed with us for 20 years? Here is his answer😊 I can summarize it in 3 reasons - ordered by priority - 1. the team, 2. non-monotonous work, 3. option to choose my own path. The team makes you feel at work like on a friend event. Of course there are ups and downs, but even in downs team was there to help to get out of the ... it.  [😉]  The work was always interesting, sometimes more challenging, sometimes more annoying and of course sometimes a little monotonous as at any other work. What also helped a lot that most of my team leads have aIways acted as one of us. CE Hon. Tracey Martin is en route to Reefton today to meet with locals fighting to replace the aged care services their community lost earlier this year. For many, the closure of Ziman House has meant loved ones must leave their town, their community, and their loved ones to receive the care they need. Today's update explores the challenges of delivering care in rural areas such as Reefton, and what New Zealand can learn from Australia's approach. Because we don’t have to reinvent the wheel here; we can learn from proven models and adapt them to meet the unique needs of our communities, ensuring equitable access to care for all New Zealanders, no matter where they live. Tracey also points out that these scenarios are the results of decisions. Somewhere along the way, a decision has been made inside Te Whatu Ora, inside government, that it is okay not to provide aged care to some of our communities. The ACA continues to call for members of government to look at what the Australian’s are doing, and consider the benefits for the New Zealand aged care sector of adopting innovative funding models, like block funding, to support rural and regional communities in providing sustainable and locally tailored aged care solutions. #AgedCare #RuralHealthcare #RuralCommunities

Aptera is set to unveil the first vehicle built with production parts at CES 2025. Hopefully these production parts vehicles will enable validation and crash testing so we can have first deliveries happen still in 2025. I believe this vehicle will be key for the electric transition of those who live in apartments or don't have a garage where they can charge for low costs.
