Farmdar an agritech startup leveraging AI and space technology to enhance agricultural productivity, has secured a pre-Series A investment led by Silicon Valley’s Moment Ventures, with participation from existing investor Indus Valley Capital. This marks the first Silicon Valley-led funding round for a Pakistani startup this year. The investment will support Farmdar’s leadership in Pakistan’s agritech sector and fuel its expansion into Southeast Asia. Co-founder Muhammed Bukhari stated, "With agriculture facing critical climate challenges, this funding will help us drive climate adaptation efforts in Pakistan and boost our growth in Southeast Asia’s key agricultural markets." Since its launch in Pakistan in 2021, Farmdar has provided precision agriculture services across 350 million acres globally, benefiting over 200,000 farmers.
