Is a Microsoft MVP award really that special? 💥 Yes... they are 💥 The last week has seen Microsoft's FY25 Kick Off #MCAPS and of course the chosen one's getting their shiny new #MVP glassware these Microsoft rockstars have worked so hard to achieve! You will probably have seen the proud announcements across Linkedin and the usual platforms, with more Lego and Bobble heads in their award photo backgrounds than you can shake a stick at! Some gained their very first proud MVP award, many a renewal, and some have even gained multiple awards! 💻 Imagine this in a busy working week.... 💻 1️⃣ Spend time with family and friends, help home work, be a taxi driver, walk the dog/s, do some exercise, do chores, eat dinner, enjoy conversation with the other half (or at least try 😂) 2️⃣ Then commit your time and presence to tech communities (often multiple!) 3️⃣ Write blogs, film you Tube videos, write articles and/or white papers. 4️⃣ Publish your views and insights on tech updates, product advancements, new releases, design/deployment strategies, capabilities and other cool Microsoft shizzle! 5️⃣ Build on your elite knowledge of a specialist Microsoft service, achieve even more certs/renewals. 6️⃣ Support and mentor others through community or more widely social media channels, Linkedin live, websites and You Tube. That's a good start to understand what these people commit and contribute too in the Microsoft ecosystem. So how do you become one? Ask an MVP what they did if you know one, or search You Tube where lots of MVP's talk about this and then see if your employer will support you on the journey. 🌟 An MVP works hard to achieve an award, and contributes a lot because they genuinely love to develop and share. 🚀 Exciting News: A Milestone Achieved! 🚀   Dear Getboarded Community,   We're thrilled to share a major milestone in our journey - we've been approved for $100,000 in Microsoft infrastructure credits! This comes as we move to the last step of the Founders Hub and activate Go-to-Scale stage.   🌐💻 This incredible support from Microsoft is a testament to our team's dedication and the exciting journey we've been on throughout our start. The credits have been instrucmental in running and experimenting our AI models, our video servers and the compute services. We used Power BI, Microsoft Suite, Github enterprise and so much of the services to build tech solutions that we have today.   As we reflect on the past year, it's been a whirlwind of innovation, challenges, and growth. From launching groundbreaking projects to overcoming obstacles, each step has shaped our path to where we stand today. The support from the Microsoft team is not just a validation of our hard work but also a catalyst for what's to come. We won the new app award in Teams marketplace with VideoWiki. This also got us noticed by Webex who invited us for a similar app in their market.   In 2023, we envisioned Getboarded as a hub for community tooling for people development. And in 2024 we're collaborating with more minds, embracing new technologies, and fostering a culture of continuous learning. This Microsoft approval is not just a financial boost; it's a recognition of our commitment to pushing boundaries to test, try and build helping tech.   Our journey wouldn't be complete without expressing our gratitude to our incredible team, partners, and, of course, our fantastic community with ALTFuture.
