Surefire Resources NL (ASX:SRN) has defined nine new priority drill targets at its 100%-owned Yidby Gold Project in Western Australia. The targets have been delineated from IP and structural reinterpretations, and present potential for depth extensions of current mineralised intercepts into a deeper #gold porphyry system. External consultants CSA Global were commissioned to review the induced polarisation (IP) survey, structural interpretation from diamond drill cores and interpretation from re-logging of drill chips. The IP survey re-interpretation reveals high chargeability zones with a distinct correlation between the chargeability of gold mineralisation intersected to date. LANTHANEIN RESOURCES LIMITED (ASX: LNR) has completed planning for a drilling program at the Godzilla and Avenger #lithiumprospects of the Lady Grey Project in Western Australia which will also target multiple new #gold, #copper and #nickel anomalies identified in recent tenement-wide soil sampling. The drill planning follows ground proofing by company consultants of the recent #lithium, gold and #basemetal results from sampling. There were 1,893 samples collected with multiple discrete and coincident lithium, gold, copper and nickel anomalies identified. Lady Grey is directly adjacent to Covalent Lithium’s (SQM & Wesfarmers) producing Earl Grey Lithium Mine in the Forrestania Greenstone Belt which hosts 189 million tonnes at1.53% Li2O and also has the nearby historic Bounty Gold Mine which produced ~1.3 million ounces. Here's a quick overview of our Pine Grove property, located in the Walker Lane Mineral Belt in Nevada: ⛏ Land: Lincoln controls 100% mineral interest over 7.2 sq miles in the Pine Grove district, NV, including Wheeler mine and 243 unpatented claims with significant gold mineralization. ⛏ Previous Work: Teck Resources invested $2.2M in the 1990s, conducting extensive drilling and mapping. Lincoln holds all their technical data. ⛏ Lincoln's Efforts: From 2008-2010, Lincoln drilled core holes and conducted metallurgical testing with excellent results. Environmental surveys and permitting ongoing. New gold-copper soil anomalies identified warrant further drilling. ⛏ Economic Assessment: A 2011 PEA by Telesto Nevada Inc. shows positive prospects for open-pit mining and heap leach operation at Pine Grove. Lincoln filed an Amended and Restated NI 43-101 Preliminary Economic Assessment for the Pine Grove project in February 2015. Since 2016, drill programs, survey work, geotechnical work, a field exploration program that identified new target areas at the project, and other production permitting work have been conducted at Pine Grove. Multiple gold target areas have been identified at Golden Ridge with soil sampling defining anomalous gold in soils over a combined strike length of at least 9km. The soil anomaly remains open along trend in both directions. Infill and extension soil sampling is ongoing over the wider Golden Ridge project area. Drilling at the Trafalgar Prospect is set to recommence imminently. Managing Director and CEO, Neil Marston commented, “Our flagship Golden Ridge Project in northeast Tasmania keeps delivering exciting results. 👷♂️ The basic objectives of extraction planning in a open pit mine are: ✅ To mine the ore body in such a way that for each year the cost to produce a Kg of metal is minimum, the philosophy of mining the “next best” ore in sequence. ✅ To maintain operation viability within the plan through the incorporation of adequate equipment operating room, haulage access to each active bench, road drainage, good roads and ramps, a good maintenance of equipment's, etc. ✅ To incorporate sufficient exposed ore “insurance” so as to counter the possibility of mis-estimation of ore tonnages and grades in the reserve model. This is particularly true in the early years which are so critical to economic success. ✅ To defer waste stripping requirement, as much as possible, and yet provide a relatively smooth equipment and manpower build up. ✅ To develop a logical and easily achievable start up schedule with due recognition to manpower training, pioneering activities, equipment deployment, infrastructure and logistical support, thus minimizing the risk of delaying the initiation of positive cash flow from the venture. ✅ To maximize design pit slope angles in response to adequate geotechnical investigations, and yet through careful planning minimize the adverse impacts of any slope instability, should it occur. ✅ To properly examine the economic merits of alternative ore production rate and cutoff grade scenarios. ✅ To thoroughly subject the proposed mining strategy, equipment selection, and mine development plan to “what if” contingency planning, before a commitment to proceed is made.            📜 Reference: W.
