I recently stumbled upon Heineken’s Boring Phone campaign — a clever take on how indispensable our phones have become in daily life. How often do we find ourselves at concerts or events, experiencing it through the small screens in our hands rather than being in the moment? 🌅 📲 As our entertainment and social habits evolve, Heineken offers a refreshing perspective on how technology impacts our ability to stay present. Their Boring Phone—a minimalist phone designed to do... well, not much— takes us back to basics. No notifications, no distractions—just pure, undivided attention for those around us. Our relationship with screens has become a double-edged sword. While they connect us, entertain us, and build communities, they also pull us away from the real-life moments right in front of us. Heineken’s campaign is a reminder of how valuable in-person interactions are—and how sometimes, the best connection doesn’t require Wi-Fi. As we move forward, finding a balance between digital and physical worlds will be essential. It’s exciting to see brands like The HEINEKEN Company encourage us to unplug, be present, and remember the simplicity of face-to-face connections. That's why every month, we dedicate an afternoon to our *Moyosa Media Academy*, where we dive into a workshop, explore new topics, or share updates on ongoing projects. Today, we took it up a notch with our *first-ever Taskmaster Edition*! 💡 In teams of three, we competed in a series of fun, creative challenges, guided by two brilliant Taskmasters. From problem-solving tasks to thinking on our feet, the day was filled with laughter, learning, and some healthy competition. Why is this important? Because, in our line of work, thinking outside the box is not just encouraged — it's essential. Our projects demand creativity, adaptability, and a strong sense of collaboration. Team-building exercises like these are key to fostering trust, enhancing communication, and pushing each of us to innovate in ways we might not have thought of alone. It’s not just about the tasks at hand; it’s about sharpening our collective mindset and becoming better problem-solvers together. Each challenge was a reminder that when we think outside the box and work as a team, there's no limit to what we can achieve. Just touched down back in reality (with a serious case of jetlag), but my mind is still buzzing from my first time at Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity! Surrounded by everyday creatives, I saw works that pushed boundaries and redefining what's possible. The storytelling, innovation, and the sheer power of ideas to change the world – it was truly intoxicating. While I’m still fresh off a week immersed in creativity's global epicenter, I’d love to share my key takeaways: Know your 🔠 : ▶️ Audacity: The truly groundbreaking work wasn't afraid to be ambitious, tackling significant challenges with innovative solutions. ▶️ Bravery: More than just being daring, it was about using that boldness to achieve results. The winning campaigns made smart choices that directly served their objectives. ▶️ Causality: Going beyond "might have worked" to demonstrably drive REAL, measurable results. ▶️ Direction: Not followers; but pioneers. These are works that pushed the industry forward, setting new standards for creativity and effectiveness. Feeling insanely grateful for this experience, and a reminder that the future of advertising & marketing is bold, brave, and bursting with possibility. Here's to pushing boundaries, using our ideas for good, and building that next generation of creative changemakers. I’m already itching to put these learnings into action! 😚

That’s why every month, we come together for our “Monthly Strategy Meet” (yeah, the name could use some flair, but it does the job). These sessions are where we take a step back from the day-to-day grind and really dig into what’s working, what’s not, and where we want to go next. Our discussions cover everything from marketing strategies and commercial efforts to tech infrastructure and new proof of concepts. It’s a chance for everyone—whether you’re leading a project or just joining the team—to voice their ideas and perspectives. We know that the best solutions often come from the most unexpected places, so we make sure every opinion is heard. These meetings aren’t just about reviewing tasks; they’re about shaping the future. We celebrate our successes, but we’re also unafraid to tackle the tough questions: Are we really making things easier? Are we listening and learning from each other?
