Did you know that every minute a person is in cardiac arrest without life saving interventions their chances of survival decrease by 10%? When a person experiences a cardiac arrest their heart is no longer beating. They will collapse, and their breathing will become erratic or it will stop all together. If you think a person is experiencing a cardiac arrest there are three simple steps to remember: 📞 Call 🙌 Push ⚡️ Shock Call: Call 000 so highly trained ambulance paramedics can be sent to respond to the event. Push: Begin hands-only CPR by performing chest compressions. Shock: Use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) if you have one nearby.
