💸 Out of home (OOH) adspend is on the rise and showing no signs of slowing down, according to the Advertising Association and WARC's latest Expenditure Report. 🌟 OOH started 2024 strong with a 16% year-on-year quarterly increase in adspend in Q1, posting its 12th consecutive quarter of growth. Digital OOH (DOOH) grabbed attention with an impressive 23% year-on-year quarterly growth. 📺 Looking ahead, OOH adspend is projected to reach £1.457 billion in 2024, a 12.5% increase from 2023. Of this projected amount, £977.5 million, or 67%, is expected to come from DOOH. 🚀 Thanks to a fantastic start in 2024, the OOH adspend forecast for 2024 has been bumped up by 5.3 percentage points – the largest positive revision across all media channels!
