I’ve seen this happen so many times. You make a choice to price reduce in some way and put the fundamentals of consumer psychology second and then you hear about it (very quickly) from consumers. If it ain’t broke - don’t fix it. Find other ways to add “perceived” value to consumers or cut costs in other ways.
