#postcovidsyndrome #longcovid #recovery Another week over, the weekend approaches 👍... ...what's our progress & learnings this week? (1) Stress reduction is definitely helping. It doesn't take symptoms away but it reduces flare-ups and lessens pain. (From 'argh' to 'owwww') (2) Diet changes seem to be helping...more fish, nuts, the daily Ginger/Turmeric shots...more protein...less sugar, dairy & meat... (3) Gentle exercise, fatigue allowing, is helping...short walks, yoga - I even did my 1st 5 squats yesterday! (Might be able to slowly introduce resistance exercises at home for 5-10 minutes a day in May) (4) Sleep is the absolute key. I was kept awake last night by neighbours and I'm in absolute bits today. Highlight of the week = two friends visiting unexpectedly yesterday...just to say hey...for great conversation. One in the afternoon & one in the evening. One brought my favourite chocolate and the other homemade banana bread! #blessed How's your weekend starting? What's your takeaway(s) from this week?
