This week it was time again for the Business Plan Week at Lufthansa Systems. Over the course of three days all products in the domains of flight planning, operations and finance presented their business plans all the way up to 2029 in detail.   The dicussions resulted in many valualbe insights and learnings, which include the following:   - AI is a significant driver for most of the products going forward - Innovative IT solutions in the aviation sector play an ever more important role - Driving product & solution development in close collaboration and/or close customer focus is key - Faster innovation cycles and business plan adaptations are key in an ever faster changing world   My personal highlight was the presentation of Christina, Floris, Heiko and Frank from the BoardConnect team, introducing the business plan for the state of the art inflight entertainment & connectivity solution of Lufthansa Systems. Personalized and customer tailored information and entertainment combined with internet connectivity during the flight is the way forward!   To cut a long story short, lot's of good discussions, insights and learnings!   Last but not least, a big shout out to Ansgar and his team for organizing the business plan week.
