𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐞 1𝐬𝐭 𝐓𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐀𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧! This incredible community-based organization empowers and connects women in the Talent Acquisition profession, a cause I deeply admire. Their mission to advance careers and recruiting networks truly resonated with me. Thank you, Amanda, Natalie, ✨ Krista, and Kavita for inviting me! I was privileged to speak on a panel discussing "Navigating Talent Overflow: Identifying Top Candidates in a Saturated Market." Here are some key takeaways from the insightful discussion and Q&A: ● Opportunity in Abundance: While a surge in applicants presents challenges, it also allows companies to be more selective and attract top talent who might have been missed previously. ● Clarity is Queen: This influx underlines the critical need to go back to basics: ➟Establish an effective hiring plan. ➟Identify key stakeholders and decision-makers. ➟Prioritize candidate experience throughout the process. ➟Standardize job descriptions, interview processes, and candidate evaluations. ● Quality over Quantity: Be bold and unpost roles if applications become unmanageable. This allows for thoughtful review, maintaining a positive candidate experience, and attracting the right talent. 𝐀𝐈 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 - 𝐀 𝐁𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐜𝐭: Technology plays a role, but it can't replace human interaction. Here's how to leverage AI effectively: ● Focus on the right tools and problems you need to solve. ● Understand the strengths and weaknesses of AI tools to ensure fair and unbiased usage. ● Train recruiters to mitigate bias and identify potential ethical concerns. ● Track and measure results - Analyze metrics like time-to-hire and candidate experience. Ultimately, skilled interviewers and relationship-building recruiters are irreplaceable. AI can't replicate human intuition and judgment. Public speaking is always nerve-wracking for me! I definitely felt imposter syndrome before the event, but the incredible support and feedback afterward were truly rewarding. Stepping outside your comfort zone can lead to unique experiences. So, I encourage everyone to push their boundaries and try something new!

🚀 After receiving insightful feedback from my last poll on the type of feedback candidates expect after applying to jobs, it's clear that almost everyone desires personalized feedback. However, in reality, it's nearly impossible for HR or recruiters to respond to every applicant individually, let alone provide personalized feedback. Inspired by this challenge, I am exploring how to integrate this as a feature on Round One AI. Given that RoundOne AI already possesses data from the initial rounds of interviews with all applicants, we are uniquely positioned to offer constructive and objective feedback at scale. #BuildInPublic is on! Stay tuned for more updates. In the meantime, I'd love to hear your thoughts on striking the right balance for providing personalized feedback at scale.
