2 days week end Training given in Distance Protection relaying using REL670 and Differential Protection using P645 . All participants satisfied with below key topics, why reach is varying in over current due to fault location, Source Impedance and why Reach in Distance relay is unaffected by those variables , and learned about Arc resistance, Ground resistance effect in impedance relay Power swing explained with help of max power transfer equation. Pmax = V1V2/X . sin ¤. And learned about Magnitude fatching factor due to different current is HV, LV , Phase angle correction due to Vector Group, Zero seq correction due to earthed star winding and delta Winding . Rio file creation and conventional testing of both relays . configuration and Testing of both relays were done to full of their satisfaction. Senthil 9176864046

One of the things I learned so far is irrespective of the size of an electrical/ electronic system, safety is very important. All regulations and measures are to be taken into consideration. - A lesson I have learned in school, in my ongoing IT and on the field

CSA Z462 2021 is now obsolete. Do you have an Arc Flash & Electric Shock re-training plan for your staff? Employers are now required to: ▶ PROVIDE TRAINING FOR NEW & EXISTING WORKERS: Provide CSA Z462, 2024 Edition training for new employees and refresher/updates training for those previously trained. ▶ UPDATE THEIR ELECTRICAL SAFETY PROGRAM (ESP): Review and update the ESP based on the 2024 Edition of CSA Z462, including a gap analysis and documentation updates. ▶ REVIEW ELECTRICAL SAFETY WORK PRACTICES: Ensure all practices are up-to-date to meet the requirements of the latest edition of CSA Z462. This is not a comprehensive list of requirements, but in my view, the most time-sensitive. ▶ If you haven't booked re-training yet, and would like information sent to you, please write "info" in the comments. I will send you a package that explains the latest changes and updates.
