I see you because I’ve been YOU. I’ve been stretched beyond measure, especially as an entrepreneur, learning as I went and finding the courage to figure things out on my own. I decided enough was enough, and I surrendered my business to God. Let me tell you—God is the best business partner any CEO can have. Now, I teach my clients and mentees how to incorporate God into their businesses for growth, influence, and profitability God’s way. This month, I’m challenging my community to 30 days of seeking God, prayer, fasting, expressing gratitude, and creating content for their businesses. Today is Day 6 of the 30-Day CEO Challenge, and we’re already being stretched to new levels. During prayer, God revealed a word from James: “Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like someone who looks at his face in a mirror and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like. But whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues in it—not forgetting what they have heard, but doing it—they will be blessed in what they do.” —James 1:23-25 There’s power and correction that comes from including God in your business, and I’m already receiving so many testimonies from just these 6 days of the challenge! If you haven’t joined the ✨30-Day CEO Challenge✨ yet, I encourage you to do so and download the FREE God and the CEO Checklist to align your business with God’s will. Join here: https://lnkd.in/gTBmWAV7 Blessings, and let’s have a fruitful week.❤️ #christianentreprenuer #faith #smallbusinesstips #smallbusinessowners #digitalproduct #ceo #ceolifestyle #businessmotivation

Overview: In this episode, we dive into the inspiring journey of Derek Strokon, a Canadian entrepreneur who transitioned from a successful corporate career to the entrepreneurial world less than five years ago. Derek has made a name for himself as a TedX speaker, author, and consultant, all while staying committed to his core philosophy: success is only worthwhile if it enables you to give back. Key Takeaways: The Importance of Multiple Streams of Income: Derek explains the necessity of diversifying income to build resilience. He emphasizes that no single stream of income is guaranteed, and by creating multiple revenue sources, you can weather downturns in one area while continuing to grow in others. Follow Your Dreams, Not Just Your Paycheck: Derek left the corporate world to pursue his passion for entrepreneurship, and it wasn’t easy at first. He shares insights on how to take calculated risks and turn your dreams into achievable goals. Passion-driven work, according to Derek, leads to long-term satisfaction and success. The Philosophy of Giving Back: One of Derek’s main beliefs is, “Make $2 million to give away $1 million.” He discusses how success isn’t just about personal wealth but also about using that success to benefit others. Derek talks about his philanthropic efforts and why he believes every entrepreneur should focus on making a positive impact on their community. January Can Feel Challenging In business, January can bring uncertainty, slow starts, and tough decisions. You might even question whether you should push forward or hit pause, thinking, "What if I get it wrong"? That’s where one of my favourite stories, the story of Sai Weng springs to mind. A tale that should remind us to look beyond the immediate. Sai Weng was a wise old man who owned a prized horse. One day, the horse ran away, and his neighbours and friends were quick to console him for his terrible luck. However, Sai Weng simply replied, “Who knows if it’s good or bad?” Days later, the horse returned, bringing wild horses with it. His neighbours and friends celebrated: “What great fortune!” But Sai Weng’s response was the same, “Who knows if it’s good or bad?” When Sai Wengs son broke his leg taming one of the wild horses, the friends, and neighbours called it a disaster. Yet Sai Weng remained calm: “Who knows if it’s good or bad?” Not long after, soldiers came to draft young men into war. Sai Weng’s son, with his broken leg, was spared. The lesson? What looks like a setback or bad news today might open doors tomorrow. In business, as in life, challenges and slow starts don’t define the outcome, they simply set the stage for new opportunities. So If you’re feeling stuck or are unsure about your next step, remember the wisdom of Sai Weng. That’s exactly what I offer, free, practical business support tailored to your challenges. If you’re wondering how to turn your current setbacks into opportunities, let’s talk. Together, we can find your path forward. Have you had a Sai Weng moment where a challenge turned into an opportunity? Let me know, I’d love to hear your story. #january #newyear #opportunities #businesssupport #freesupport #backingessexbusiness #uncertainty #toughdecisions #progress

Life can be unpredictable. Sometimes it takes years to realize that the path you were on was never really yours. But once you find the courage to 𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟—everything changes. Today, I start this new year of my life, and I’m beyond grateful for the opportunities I’ve had - to build not just one, but two businesses I love, pour my heart into writing crime thrillers, and create a space where stray animals are fed with care and kindness. These things give me a sense of purpose, reminding me daily that growth is always possible, no matter where you start. Juggling these roles as an entrepreneur, author, single mom, and someone committed to giving back hasn’t always been easy. There were moments when it felt overwhelming. But life has a way of rewarding those who don’t give up. I've learned that 𝐧𝐨 𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐲 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐜𝐤 𝐢𝐧 𝐚 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐥 𝐬𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐥, 𝐢𝐭’𝐬 𝐧𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐨𝐨 𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐰, 𝐛𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞. Today, I wake up with a heart full of gratitude—for the challenges that shaped me, the freedom I found, and the chance to help others find hope along the way. If you’re going through something tough, know this: 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐢𝐬𝐧’𝐭 𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐲𝐞𝐭. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐰𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐞 𝐰𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐧. Here’s to growth, second chances, and finding joy in unexpected places. 💛 #Gratitude #SecondChances #GrowthJourney #WomenWhoLead #SingleMomLife #EntrepreneurJourney #AuthorLife #AnimalCare #strayanimalsupport

Elissa Giwner was a joy to work with back in 2019. She has come so far in the last 5 years as a certified Project Organizer. She was just beginning her business when we coached together. One of her biggest breakthroughs was in her relationship with money in how the light bulb went on when she understood her programmed behaviors about money were just that - programmed. And, that she had the choice to change all that and own her worth by redefining the meaning of money and its blessings. So much that when it came time to develop her packages and pricing, she was ready to take on a new challenge with charging her value and worth. Witnessing these life changing breakthroughs and seeing how they impacted lives, I am deeply grateful I have a strong belief in what I am doing. Coaching is NOT for the faint of heart. It requires a bold stand for someone’s dreams and desires when they can’t see it for themselves, yet. How do you feel, think and act with money? Does it feel dignified or uncertain? Respectful or fearful? Wanna talk?
