Just think along with me, we do what our minds think and want to do How does our minds think and want ? Does it have eyes, ears and even mind to think and want ? Your mind reads your thoughts and intentions basis your action If your thoughts and intentions are wide open, positive and unbaised, it will dectate you the same way You may try this, it however takes lots of courage hard work dedications and commitment And finally - whatever you think may become reality I recall a short story, I was in one of the best Indian business management college, which is world renowned, for a management development course in 2016, the professor asked one small question “A rectangle can be divided into equal parts, how may times” I was amazed to listen the answer from the participants including me 4, 6, 8, 10,16 and so on and the professor after all pronounced answer “every one is right but and can be done in ‘n’ times or even more” we all were amazed to listen and learnt a new technique Keep learning and keep bringing new dimensions to internal auditing #internalaudit #mindyourslave #mindyourmaster #thinkpositive #yourmindliatens #learneveryday

❓..................................❓............................................❓ "The important thing is 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒕𝒐 𝒔𝒕𝒐𝒑 𝒒𝒖𝒆𝒔𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈.Curiosity has its own reason for existing." • 𝗔𝗹𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘁 𝗘𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗶𝗻 • What seemingly helped us get out of the cave, Adam take his bite & Issac figure out why his 🍎 fell down is also the one on our hands to reap the best of our AI m/c learning internship - inherently the power of our curiosity driven questioning. "The big differentiator is no longer access to information but the ability to craft smart prompts" - a process called "𝑸𝒖𝒆𝒔𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏-𝒔𝒕𝒐𝒓𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒈" coined by IMD professors Arnaud Chevallier, Frédéric Dalsace and Jean-Louis Barsoux, in their HBR article of May-June 2024 (currently on stands). Backed by their decade-long research with diverse cross-industry leadership, they found that the real bottleneck to sustainable organizational problem-solving is limited not only to what the leaders ask in their teams but also what they don't! And together they propose a 5️⃣-tier architecture of questioning - one that does "set the stage so that his/her curiosity is amplified by the curiosity of others"(Gilles Morel) and/or promoting a company culture of "getting everybody to ask and answer questions"(of Jensen Huang) as stated below: 1️⃣ Investigative (a journey to what's known) 2️⃣ Speculative (shifting to the realm of Dr. Min Basadur solution of "How might we") 3️⃣ Productive (a resource assessment step to align the need with the pace) 4️⃣ Interpretive (our search for sense & synthesis in line of our statements of mission & purpose) 5️⃣ Subjective (the platform to voice our unspoken pluralistic ignorance holding us back) So as leader-learners (Marilee Adams) it's on us to gauze what's on hand, let go of "what got us here" rigidity, adapt our question banks to the ever-changing needs of evolution & keep investing on our greatest resource for the future that awaits us - our people. Happy asking🤞. #thisisSyamantak 🅷🅱🆁 𝓜𝓪𝔂𝓙𝓾𝓷𝓮 2k24

Mentorship and Resilience: A Path to Success I recently attended an inspiring session with Anup Thomas, Director of Risk Consulting at Grant Thornton Bharat LLP. In our virtual world, the impact of a great mentor like Anup transcends boundaries. His journey from selling newspapers as a child to becoming a director is a powerful reminder of the value of perseverance, humility, and a clear "WHY." A key takeaway from the session was the importance of understanding your purpose and using the 5 WHYS Principle to solve problems at their root. Anup's humility and work ethic have left a lasting impression on me and many others. I'm deeply grateful to Anup Thomas for sharing his wisdom and to CA Shivam Palan for introducing us to such an amazing mentor. Let's celebrate the mentors who go above and beyond, generously sharing their knowledge and empowering others to grow. 🌱 Who's a mentor that's made a significant impact on your professional journey, especially in virtual settings? Share your thoughts Key Takeaways: - Comprehensive knowledge in Internal Audit and Risk Advisory. - Practical application and pathways for newcomers in the field. - Interactive learning with actionable insights. - Emphasizing humility, clarity of purpose, and continuous learning. #MentorshipMatters #ResilienceInLeadership #PathToSuccess #InspirationInAction #VirtualMentorship #LeadershipLessons #ContinuousLearning #PurposeDrivenSuccess #RiskConsulting #InternalAuditInsights #ProfessionalGrowth #EmpowerThroughMentorship #HumilityInLeadership #CareerDevelopment #5WHYSPrinciple
