Professional practice in early childhood is always better when it's done as part of a community of practice. That's why we've made online community groups for early childhood practitioners and partners to connect and discuss the issues in their professions. You can find more information about these and the other supports we have available for practitioners here: https://loom.ly/rbJjum0

Mapping regional collaboration in children's social care 🗺️ Regional collaboration in children's services has become a cornerstone of shaping the care landscape in England. The rise of regional and pan-local authority partnerships signifies a pivotal shift in children's social care. Understanding the landscape of children's social care can be complex. That's why we've created a series of maps to illustrate how existing regional structures intersect and demonstrate the collaboration opportunities available. 🔍 Explore the maps and discover the collaborative future that lies ahead: https://lnkd.in/ePNZQpDD #ChildrensServices #RegionalCollaboration #FutureofCare #PrioritisingPublicServices #PublicServices #LocalAuthority #PublicSector #LocalGov #LocalGovernment

🧡 National Day for Truth and Reconciliation 🧡 Today, we honour the survivors of residential schools, their families, and the children who never returned home. We recognize that this day may bring complex emotions—grief, anger, resilience—and we acknowledge the lasting impact on Indigenous communities. At Queensway Carleton Hospital, we understand our responsibility to address the historical and ongoing harms caused by the health care system. Reconciliation means more than words—it demands meaningful actions to foster trust, respect, and cultural safety, and to ensure Indigenous voices lead the way. This journey is not about a single day, but a sustained commitment to change. Today, we reflect on how we can provide care that supports healing, respects lived experiences, and actively works towards equity and justice for all. As we wear orange, we remember, reflect, and recommit to the work ahead. We invite everyone—staff, patients, and community members—to take meaningful steps towards reconciliation, knowing that every action, no matter how small, contributes to collective healing. #NationalDayforTruthandReconciliation #OrangeShirtDay #CulturalSafety #HealthcareCommitment #QCHCares #ReconciliationInCare
