MASTT2040, our EU foresight project on "Manufacturing as a Service" until 2040 has successfully started. In a first phase we identify the best practices of different “Manufacturing as a Service” approaches in industrial production. This is underpinned by interviews with forerunners and a survey in the European manufacturing industry.

It’s here! FIA’24 has begun, though it doesn’t seem that long ago since we were last here, sweltering in a heatwave. The Innovate UK Aerospace team are excited to be here alongside our colleagues from across UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) and the Future Flight Challenge. We are also pleased to be joined by Claire Spooner Director for Mobility on Tuesday and Wednesday. Innovate UK, part of UK Research and Innovation, is the UK’s innovation agency. Our mission is to help companies to grow through their development and commercialisation of new products, processes and services, supported by an outstanding innovation ecosystem that is agile, inclusive and easy to navigate.
