Addressing Burnout and Quiet Quitting in the Workplace Burnout is a significant concern for many employees today, often manifesting as "quiet quitting" – a reduced level of engagement and a disinclination to go above and beyond. To combat this, individuals should: * Establish clear boundaries: Decisively decline additional responsibilities when necessary and maintain a healthy work-life balance. * Prioritise self-care: Engage in activities that promote well-being, such as exercise, hobbies, listening to your favourite music, binge watching on your favourite TV show, and spending time in nature. * Communicate openly: Discuss workload concerns and potential solutions with line managers. * Seek professional support: Consider consulting with a mental health professional for guidance and support. Prioritising mental health is crucial in the modern workplace. Let us strive to create a more supportive and understanding work environment for all. #MentalHealth #Burnout #QuietQuitting #WorkLifeBalance #SelfCare #MentalWellness #WorkplaceWellness

Are you a victim of Quiet Quitting? Quiet Quitting is the term for when employees turn up for work but only do the bare minimum and are disengaged. Quiet quitting and poor mental health in the workplace come at a high cost, affecting productivity, morale, and overall business success. There's no such thing as "workplace mental health"—poor mental health impacts every area of life. I can help by supporting the mental health of key personnel and teams, offering coping mechanisms and stress management techniques. Additionally, I work with staff in trauma-inducing situations to integrate and resolve their trauma. This reduces absenteeism, minimises the negative emotional and financial impact of poor mental health and quiet quitting, and enhances staff retention. Book in a free call to see how together we can create a healthier, more productive work environment. https://lnkd.in/efRxBUgT #quietquitting #workplace #mentalhealth #leadershippotential #careerdevelopment #effectiveteams

With daily challenges and pressures, #mentalhealth sometimes takes a backseat in recruitment. But it shouldn’t. As a small business owner, I've seen the business grow from a one-man band to a team of 7️⃣, and I can't stress enough how important mental health is - for me and my team. 🔵 I make it a point to regularly catch up with my team. I believe it's important to have an open space to discuss any challenges and struggles, so we can address them directly. There's no value in pretending everything’s fine when someone might be struggling. 🟡 That’s why we've implemented a 3️⃣ 5️⃣-hour work week, with our day finishing at 4:30 PM. Our working setups are really shaped around what each team member needs. 🟠 Whether it’s coming into the office just once a month, juggling childcare, or working from abroad to be closer to family, we make sure everyone’s got a setup that works for them. Health and well-being come first. After all, if these are compromised, no one can be truly successful in their role. 🧠 🧡 Let’s use #WorldMentalHealthDay to remind ourselves of the importance of mental health in the workplace, especially in industries like recruitment where the pace never stops. #WorldMentalHealthDay #MentalHealthMatters #Recruitment #TeamWellbeing #Brabers

Prioritizing Mental Health: A Collective Responsibility In today's fast-paced world, mental health isn't just a personal issue—it's a collective responsibility. As we push ourselves to meet professional and societal expectations, it's easy to overlook our mental well-being. But thriving in our careers and lives depends on, how well we take care of our minds, as much as anything else. 🌱 In the workplace: A supportive environment can make all the difference. Encouraging open conversations about mental health, promoting work-life balance, and providing resources like counseling or mental health days are not just nice-to-haves—they’re necessities for a thriving team. 🏙️ In society: We can challenge the stigma around mental health by normalizing vulnerability and offering genuine support to those around us. Whether through community programs, educational resources, or just listening to a friend in need, every small action counts. Let's make mental well-being as much a priority as professional success. Learning, when we invest in mental health, we all benefit—from improved productivity and creativity to stronger relationships and a more compassionate world. My organisation supports mental well being while maintaining work life balance. How does your workplace support mental well-being? In honor of #MentalHealthAwarenessMonth at Headspace, we're highlighting the ways boundary-setting at work can change our personal lives for the better. Our sixth annual Workforce State of Mind report revealed that 98% of employees feel negative impacts on their personal life from work stress—but with better boundaries, we can work to be kinder to our minds on and off the clock. For me, putting together this campaign really magnified the importance of figuring out those non-negotiables that help me find true balance between work and personal. Some boundaries I'm committing to are: - setting Slack to DND during non-work hours - stepping outside, phone-free, once I shut my laptop - taking time on Sunday to really tune into the present before thinking about the week ahead What boundaries do you set so that work stress doesn't seep too much into your personal life? Head to https://lnkd.in/gRxFX5vk for tips and resources to keep work and life balanced for healthier, happier lives. 🧡
