Transcript

So if you can't be cheaper than or at least at cost parity in existing home builders, you're irrelevant. So going back to your question, we're trying to solve this by being a full end to end solution O industrializing the full end to end solution of building a home. You bring a mobile micro factory near to where there's construction demand for single family homes. And inside that mobile microfactory, we make a components, meaning we take raw input and make things like windows like helical Piers for the foundation system, framing elements. Panels that enclose the home, call them SIP panels. So we'll make raw inputs. Everything else is off the shelf, like a kitchen cabinet or toilets or sheetrock, but we're prepping those elements. Then we take one and two stuff we made and stuff that's prepped, put it on a palette and send it literally last mile to where the construction is happening. And it's aren't skilled labor that's putting it together.

It’s interesting to note that rental listings nationwide are up 40%, but Hamilton bucks the trend with an increase in listings of just 10%. This shows how buoyant our local market continues to be, and should be welcome news to many investors. In this update I also cover the impact the return of investors has had on the property market locally, and provide an outline of some important updates the government has made regarding the building of granny flats and ancillary dwellings on owner-occupied property.
