Dear friends and colleagues!   It’s a huge pleasure to launch my new newsletter hereby officially: the “Golden Nuggets of Family Medicine”!   What is it about? It’s an email-newsletter from GPs for GPs. The most exciting, evidence-based, and practically useful updates. While most newsletters are long and boring, this one is interesting and short. More here: https://lnkd.in/eDd7PxPB   Why did I start it? If you know me a bit (or a lot), you know that I always had different passions and interests. I am excited about medicine, about public health, about research and about organizing projects. Back then as a student in IFMSA and still today as a professional. This project combines those interests in a way which fits me, which I believe in, which excites me and gives me energy. I have the feeling that this is something useful, that this can make a difference and that it’s still missing in the world of family medicine.   What’s my plan? Well, mainly to write such newsletters. But I hope you want to get involved as well! Because I believe writing a great newsletter requires honest feedback, input, and suggestions. This should be a collaborative experience, inviting GPs from all over the world to share their “Golden Nuggets” (something exciting / useful for family physicians). Also, I would like to write some more blog posts where I dive deep into one specific topic, like I already did here: https://lnkd.in/ejmDS25m   Statement: This project, including the newsletter and blog, is not funded by an industry. Also, I will not accept such funding in future. This initiative should stay trustworthy and without influence from industry interests. What I write is what I believe in as a doctor and researcher.   How can you help? If you are interested, just look at the blog posts or subscribe to the newsletter.
