Currently, Balieiro is on stage, participating in a panel on global strategies for data-driven transit projects serving the public interest. The MobilityData Summit is happening today and tomorrow, October 30 and 31, and is dedicated to mobility, emphasizing the importance of standardized and high-quality information to build a sustainable future in transportation. The goal is to discuss and enhance solutions for public transportation, promoting the adoption of standards like the General Transit Feed Specification (GTFS). 🚍 Driving transparency in the transport industry: International bus route data is now open The Register of International Bus Routes is now publicly available on the Unified State Open Data Web Portal, offering detailed insights into over 1,200 routes that connect Ukraine to other countries. 🌍 For more details, explore the data here: https://bit.ly/3XZ0x8f The owner of the dataset is the State Service of Ukraine for Transport Safety (Ukrtransbezpeka). Key features of the dataset include: 🛣️ Route names and lengths 🕒 Bus schedules and stops ⏳ Travel times 🚌 Carrier information The Texty.org.ua team analyzed the register and created a series of infographics. Key findings from the analysis: 🔹 Popular departure cities: Kyiv, Odesa, and Zaporizhzhia  🔹 Top destinations: Chisinau, Warsaw, and Prague 🔹 The longest route: 76 hours and 50 minutes.
