The run up to Xmas is often chaotic here but this year is crazy, I mean who would also plan their own ISO recert for the 1st week of December…..some good lessons though, making things a priority, dealing with the important stuff first and not getting distracted is a definite improvement on last year for me! iSTORM® Privacy - Security - Pentesting Consultancy

Some strong lessons learnt already this January. The main one being that you have to listen to your body when it tells you something is wrong. The same goes for your mind, if you don’t look after yourself, you can’t look after anyone else! The other lesson is that if you want to exhibit at Privacy Space in November, you better be quick as we only have 2 spaces left already 😂❤️ iSTORM® Privacy - Security - Pentesting Consultancy

Have you ever rolled your eyes at the seemingly complex requirements for passwords? The era of one-word passwords is gone, and it may be irritating sometimes, but there’s a reason...several in fact. Here are some key reasons: 1. Evolving Cyber Threats: this is the most straightforward reason, and password complexity adds another layer of defence against these methods 2. Compliance with Security Standards: most of all, the UK has GDPR that industries must comply with 3. Behavioural Tendencies: If requirements are not established, users often create simple, memorable, and weak passwords. These requirements encourage better practices, even if they can sometimes be frustrating.
