There are lots of 4 Hour Work Week bozos that hire from the Philippines. If you’re hiring for experience, is that who you want their training to come from? Instead of assigning a whole department to someone that knows nothing about your business.. Why don't you try delegating a repeated system? Like your process for setting up a product launch PPC ad campaign. Hiring for experience sounds like a good idea But maybe hiring for no experience is a route that works better for you No Experience Teach skills from scratch Easier to focus on character and culture fit Undervalued in the market With Experience Difficult to re-teach learnings Higher comp expected Lower talent pool to choose from If you are hiring with experience, you better know how to test for it. Because their ‘training’ may have come from said bozo trying to have a ‘4 hour work week’ and his business crumbled. -Zack

To be honest, I’m exhausted & burnt out from running a full time business. I guess I need to start applying for a full time job again. This means, my business can stay as a side hustle while I get paid fixed income from the full time job. I wanted to share a recent experience I've encountered while job hunting here in Cebu. Over the past few weeks, I've applied to several local companies in the area, excited about the prospect of joining dynamic teams, being back in the corporate office set-up and of course, contributing my skills. However, I've noticed a concerning trend: despite my sincere efforts, I haven't received any updates from most Recruiters. The absence of communication, be it a rejection or a simple update, leaves candidates like me feeling uncertain and somewhat disconnected from the process. It's as if we're left hanging in the "ere," unsure of where we stand in the application journey. In this digital age, where technology offers countless solutions, I urge companies to consider automating their hiring systems. Implementing automated updates or acknowledgment emails can provide candidates with the clarity and closure they deserve, while also streamlining the recruitment process for busy recruiters. I understand the challenges that Recruiters face, especially when managing a high volume of applications because I am one of them. However, I believe that by embracing technology, we can create a more transparent and efficient hiring experience that benefits both applicants and employers alike. 😉 #lookingforjob #jobhunt #recruitmentindustry

March/April/May/(early)June Sept/Oct/(early)Nov ➡️January is slower until week 3 ➡️End of June gets slow ➡️July is REALLY slow ➡️August picks up mind month Just remember, January things don’t pick up usually as fast as people think. Also, June & July lots of vacations. For example: If you are looking to make a move and you want to start a new role in September, and you start in July you will be behind in your plan.
