🏌♂️ 🏘 We Love It When a Plan Comes Together! 🏘 🏌♂️ There's something truly special about watching a plan unfold, especially when it’s as big as turning an entire golf course⛳ into a luxury residential community🏘 in beautiful Boca Raton! What was once rolling fairways and sand traps is now a stunning place to call home. 😍 😍 Transforming a golf course ⛳ into a thriving neighborhood isn’t for the faint of heart ❤️ —it’s a challenge that requires vision, precision, and an experienced team that knows how to bring every detail to life. 💪 💪 From navigating the unique layout of the land to ensuring every piece of infrastructure is perfectly in place, it takes more than just heavy equipment; it takes a crew that’s been there, done that, and is ready to do it again. 🙌 That’s why you want Cliff's Trucking on your side. With years of experience in site development, we’re the team that makes the impossible possible, turning challenges into achievements. 🏆 When you’ve got the right crew, every project comes together just the way you planned it. 💞 💞 Ever play at the OLD Boca Municipal course?? The Rich History of Longboat Key Florida Longboat Key, a slender barrier island nestled between the Gulf of Mexico and Sarasota Bay on Florida’s west coast, has a history steeped in the charm of Old Florida. Originally inhabited by indigenous peoples, the area witnessed the arrival of Spanish explorers in the 16th century. However, it wasn’t until the late 19th century that Longboat Key began to see permanent settlement. Early pioneers, such as Thomas Mann and John Gillespie, ventured to the island, drawn by its natural beauty and abundant resources. In the early 20th century, the completion of the Sarasota Bay Ringling Causeway in 1921 facilitated easier access to Longboat Key, spurring development on the island. The 1920s Florida land boom brought an influx of new residents and developers eager to capitalize on the island’s picturesque landscapes. Longboat Key became a destination for those seeking a tranquil escape with its pristine beaches, swaying palm trees, and proximity to cultural amenities in nearby Sarasota. https://lnkd.in/esAki-U9

"Let's meet at Brockholes Nature Reserve and try to catch the starling murmuration!" Thanks to Ian Barrett for suggesting a catch up and to Lancashire Wildlife Trust for a great venue for lunch and to talk about our goals for our new jobs, regenerative leadership, collaboration and focusing on the truly important stuff. Then, a rather rainy walk around the 'Unreserved Reserve' as we discussed visitor centres, customer focus and making community engagement fun and sociable. And, right on time - the starlings arrived. "It doesn't look like they have a leader?" According to Big Think/ Google - "Starling murmurations do not have a leader. Instead, each starling in the flock follows a few simple rules and imitates the movements of its neighbours: - Move towards the centre. - Follow the starling in front of you - Avoid colliding with other starlings - Stay close to your neighbours - Move in the same direction as your neighbours. These rules allow the starlings to act independently while still moving as one cohesive group. The starlings' ability to adapt quickly and make collective decisions helps them to: - Avoid predators, - Conserve energy - Maintain warmth in colder weather" I think there's definitely some learning in there about how organisations can work together. And great to experience my first murmuration. It was as beautiful as I hoped it would be. Thanks to Ian Barrett for the video.

Beautiful, Cheap Campgrounds In Central Florida. Since we try to get away in the RV for a few days each month, I get to test my RV lawyer skills. For those who say I shouldn't combine work and play, I always have the answer. I don't work if I don't feel like it. The only downside to living in sunny Florida, where year round RVing is possible, is that many campgrounds are very expensive. As an example, it can easily cost upwards of $1,000 to stay a few days at Disney's Ft. Wilderness, and $600 at a commercial campground like KOA. The good news is that Orange County has a beautiful campground system, that includes Moss Park and other campgrounds. We will be spending 5 days there later in April, and a week in Magnolia park in May. Just a few minutes from the theme parks, and beautiful lakefront camping. Cost? Under $100 for a whole week. $23 a day. Wanna get away? Don't get on a cramped airplane, and wait in line at security check lines, and pay a fortune for hotels and rent a cars. Get an RV. Buy an old one that has good bones. They are cheap. https://lnkd.in/eEEmd6YT
