Meble Polska sees imm upturn February’s Meble Polska - Furniture Trade Show is seeing increased demand with no imm cologne taking place next year. The 25-28 February event in Poznan was already on course to exceed 2024’s show and the record-breaking pre-pandemic 2020 edition. ‘The cancellation of the January edition of the imm Cologne fair has increased interest in participation from new companies. Even before we received the official information about the interruption of the Cologne fair, domestic and foreign companies that originally planned to present their offer at imm began contacting us. They are now looking for an alternative solution that would allow them to reach international furniture buyers. Meble Polska, with a strong representation of buyers from about 70 countries, in addition to being organised at a similar time, seems an obvious choice,’ says Józef Szyszka, Meble Polska director. Szyszka says there is ‘ample capacity’ for increasing the number of exhibitors and it is actively recruiting furniture manufacturers from Ukraine. ‘These activities are being carried out in cooperation with the Ukrainian Association of Furniture Manufacturers UAFM, which has recognized Meble Polska as the most effective sales promotion tool among all the furniture fairs UAFM has participated in in the past years. According to preliminary announcements, the national appearance of Ukrainian companies will be even larger than at the 2024 edition. ‘The industry is responding to the current situation with activity. Manufacturers are taking advantage of the Poznan furniture fair to diversify their portfolio of customers and expand the geographic structure of sales to new markets.’ https://lnkd.in/eFatKkEi #furniture #furnitureindustry #furnitureshow #tradefair
