2wThis is an excellent and thought-provoking post, and I appreciate the emphasis on prioritizing #people, leveraging #data, and fostering #collaboration to build resilience in the aviation sector. However, I believe there’s an additional dimension worth exploring—environmental #sustainability. Resilience isn’t just about dealing with sudden disruptions or fixing conflicts on the spot. It’s also about gearing up for bigger, long-term challenges. Take climate change, for example—it’s already shaking up aviation with tougher regulations, shifting customer expectations, and more frequent weather-related disruptions. To stay ahead, the industry can lean into solutions like sustainable aviation fuels (SAFs), improving fuel efficiency, and building infrastructure that can handle climate extremes. These steps not only strengthen operations but also boost the industry’s image on a global scale. On top of that, tech like #AI and predictive maintenance makes operations smoother and cuts down on environmental impact—a win-win. As resilience becomes something we need to prioritize all the time, sustainability has to be at the core of how we move forward.
