DCOIT is a third generation antifouling biocide that was once considered environmentally friendly. Further some studies reported high toxicity associated with this compound; and in some conditions, persistence in the environment. in this new paper led by Dr. Bruno Campos, we showed that DCOIT may be transferred through trophic chain, although it does not biomagnify free access here: https://lnkd.in/dKvnmdH2
