This is an essential event to attend. From my perspective, the process should begin with project ideation, as many projects are often driven by needs-based models that overlook the full spectrum of lived experiences/culture etc . It would be valuable to hear the participants' perspectives on how evaluation systems in Africa can be decolonized. I have always argued that many evaluations criterion often fall short of fully capturing “cultural appropriateness OR maybe African appropriateness (New criteria😁 ) ” in their application. There is a need to ensure that evaluation frameworks/systems are more reflective of and aligned with the cultural dynamics and traditions that shape people’s lived experiences
