Considering a change for 2025? Now is the time for your trial. #peerreviewplatform #peerreview #scholarlyjournal
Configure questions for authors and reviewers according to manuscript type. Recreate your consent form with our Declaration tab. Create invitations and separate staff groupings (and deadlines) for your special issues. Have all of this run parallel to your normal submissions, where you, by the way, spontaneously do a pre-evaluation or group review in addition to peer review where necessary. Yes. Manuscript Manager can do all of that and more. Give us a try. A free trial runs for 30 days https://lnkd.in/gw6m3rK #peerreviewplatform #peerreview #scholarlyjournal

Congratulations to AMS Editor’s Award recipient Nathan Lenssen for high-quality and thorough reviews! "Advice I was given at some point is that most manuscripts will get accepted somewhere. Thus, it is your job as a reviewer to help the authors get the manuscript accepted at the submitted journal if at all possible. This attitude has helped me feel aligned with the authors, rather than a gatekeeper." — Nathan Lenssen. Read more about his thoughts on peer review: https://bit.ly/3ZtDHZ3 #JClimate #PeerReviewWeek

Yep!!! This mostly unnecessary metamorphosis is the very thing that makes an academic question the dignity of the work they love so much 👇 The peer review process has long since lost the benefits it was originally intended to bring and has turned into a machine of absurdity. And all in the name of science. #AcademicLife #PeerReview #ScientificAbsurdities
The manuscript you submitted and then after peer review and revisions. @redpenblackpen

What I wish I had known earlier ..... Many scholars, myself included, often find conducting a Review of Literature (ROL) to be tedious and time-consuming. In my view, tasks tend to feel boring when their outcomes don't offer sufficient rewards. But with the help of this, you can take multiple benefits of your literature, as it will help you: 1. Keep things sorted for you for a longer time. 2. You can easily make sections in this according to your topics, which will be helpful for you to pull the review papers out of your ROL. 3. When you reach the discussion section of your thesis/ research paper, you will already have supporting/criticizing articles in one single file. BONUS: There is also a statement sheet, that I created in the same file where I put definitions and signature statements of various authors which will help write the instruction section of the article. To get the sample document for you, 1. Click on "Connect" (it's not possible to share files without a connection). 2. Comment "ROL" and will share the file in your DM. P.S. - The last post got deleted somehow, so had to post it again. Sorry for the inconvenience.
