Are you celebrating Valentines Day? Do you have a special "Valentine"? If you have - great! If not, how do you feel about Valentines Day? Me and my other half don't celebrate Valentines Day. Firstly because we don't feel the need to - even after 20 years but secondly because it is my birthday the day after Valentines and also simply because I don't care about flowers and cards. Let me know in the chat how you feel about Valentines and, most importantly, how you are celebrating Valentines Day 2024. #ValentinesDay #Relationships #Love #LearnwithKat

Celebrate more victories! I used to think everyone likes celebrations. I mean who doesn't, right? Getting together, partying, clicking pictures, being ecstatic etc. But then I myself got to a point where I stopped celebrating. Asking, "Is this even worth celebrating?" hindered my mind. Because of this, I stopped seeing how far I had come as I was always looking for how far I had to go. Then I saw the same pattern around my people, my team and I realised that this has to change! This is when me & my colleague started the Party Planning Committee (PPC). We started celebrating birthdays, successful major deployments, team outings etc. People started celebrating too! Professional and Personal milestones. And now it has become a norm. We work, we celebrate. Simple. In this photo, our client team and we are celebrating one such much-awaiting victory. This was post a major, major requirement that involved multiple teams, stakeholders and management decisions. How often do you celebrate? Let me know in the comments 👇 Follow Gaurav Shirwalkar for more such content.

Celebrating a Century of Life: A Legacy of Connection Reaching 100 years is an incredible milestone in itself. But reaching 100 years surrounded by those whose lives you've touched? That's the true measure of a life well-lived. #LifeGoals Western society often sends the message that aging diminishes our value, pushing our eldest members to the margins. In doing so, we overlook the vast history, wisdom, and perspective our elders carry. By setting aside the eldest among us, we lose a vision of the life we all hope to create. This is a powerful reminder of why #RepresentationMatters—because, as the saying goes, "You can’t be what you can’t see." Imagine if we each had frequent interactions with centenarians. Perhaps the daily pressures of modern life would feel a bit lighter, and we’d focus more on the life we want MOST rather than the life we want NOW. Ask yourself: “Will this matter when I’m 100?” As a new mom, this question feels especially poignant. It keeps the main thing ... the MAIN THING. It challenges me to build a life that endures through the decades—a life that values deep, genuine connections. I hope to leave a legacy that truly matters. #Legacy #Centenarians #AgingWithPurpose #LifelongConnections #Inspiration #MeaningfulLife #Family #Wisdom #MomsJourney #GrowthMindset
This past weekend we celebrated my Great Aunt’s 100th birthday. She is the second one in our family to reach the milestone with her mom living to 103. It was a blessing to have my son, the youngest member of the family, meet her. Seeing all my family celebrate her reminded me of the blue zones and how family is essential to a long life. The phrase ‘family is everything’ hits even more now as a father.

Why Do We Give Flowers When Congratulating? A friend asked me this recently, and it made me think. My reply to them was simple: it’s a way of saying, “Keep doing things that make us congratulate you more because it’s never enough.” Flowers might fade, but the sentiment behind them doesn’t. It’s not just about celebrating a moment; it’s about encouraging someone to keep growing, keep achieving, and keep making us proud. Success isn’t a one-time thing—it’s a journey. And sometimes, a bouquet is our way of saying, "We can’t wait to celebrate the next step with you." What do you think? Why do we still give flowers despite their temporary nature? #WhyWeGiveFlowers #CelebrationSymbols #Encouragement #GrowthAndSuccess #NeverEnough #CelebrateTheJourney #SymbolismInLife #ThoughtfulGifts

My nan is celebrating 99 years young today! 🎂 We're four generations strong, and the anticipation for that royal birthday card in a year is making her very excited! 👑 As we celebrate it got me thinking about the valuable lessons I've learnt from her over the years. One thing in particular - telling a story! She has told many stories from her days in the land army to being a farmers wife on the Devonshire farm. Reflecting on this, stories are important in our businesses too! They create an emotional connection between your brand and your audience. When people can relate to a story, they are more likely to connect with your brand on a personal level. Emotions drive consumer behaviour, and stories are a powerful way to evoke emotions, build trust and feel more connected. I'm embarking on a journey to add another chapter to my personal story this year. We're on a mission to connect with my nan 100 times this year—sharing stories, laughter, and creating memories. If you have any ideas for our '100 things' list, feel free to share! How do you weave your unique story into your business? #Accountability #Milestone #Generations #story #branding #businessbranding

Celebrating Appreciation Day: A Time to Recognize and Thank Today, on Appreciation Day, let's take a moment to acknowledge and express our gratitude to the people who make a difference in our lives. A simple thank you, a thoughtful gesture, or a public expression of appreciation can go a long way in strengthening relationships and fostering a positive and supportive work environment. At Alyasra, we started our gratitude journey with a simple but powerful tool of Thank You Cards. Within no time many of our team members got these fantastic cards with personal message on it. It created the wave of encouragement, appreciation and moreover strong bonding between teams. Let's make Appreciation Day more than just a day; let it be a reminder to practice gratitude every day. #appreciationday #thankyou #gratitude #recognition
