Educators and industry professionals often view internships differently. While educators may view them as work experiences, industry insiders may consider them demanding in terms of time and oversight. This divide often limit students' access to real-world experiences necessary for transitioning into professional roles. At Virtual Internships, we stand at the forefront of these connections. We're proud to partner with global universities and educational providers to connect their learners with global employers to bridge this gap. By collaborating with both educational and industry leaders, we help learners develop relevant skills and navigate the evolving real-world landscape to prepare for the #FutureOfWork. This is sure to be a hot topic at #ASUGSVSummit2024 so don't miss our team there from 14-17th this month. Book a quick chat to discuss bridging the gap with us: https://lnkd.in/dZxc7DY3

Who doesn't love rewards? 🎁 What better way to encourage your kids to excel in their studies than by giving them rewards every time they achieve something? No need for $500 rewards though – we don’t want parents to go broke 😅 At Young Gates, we provide certificates and internships as rewards after completing a course, motivating our students to do even better. 💪 Do you agree with this reward strategy? Think what you want about private business schools, but here’s one thing I love about them. As a young person entering university, you often have no idea what you want to do in life. And that’s OK. I was lucky to learn early on that to solve this question, you have to start experimenting. Try as many things as you can to discover what you love and where your strengths lie. Private business schools seem to understand this too, making internships a core part of the curriculum. At WHU, e.g., every student spends their summer doing full-time internships—no lectures, no exams for 4 months (!). 🏫💼 I recently talked to two friends studying at different top public business schools in Germany. While internships are also a core part of their curriculum, they have to study and write exams on the side, forcing them to finish work early and doing internships of only 4-6 weeks. Why do public universities not give students some free time to work in different fields and find out what they love? Or am I missing something 🤔🔍 #Education #Internships #BusinessSchool #StudentLife #CareerExploration #WHU #Germany

Mentors Connect Sessions Continues... Today, we had an amazing session with Nishi Malhotra, where she shared insights into her corporate journey. Here are THREE key learnings we can adapt from the session: 1) Don't be introverted: It is always better to share information with our peers, friends, and classmates! 2) Stay updated with time: We should prioritize reading about companies and internships to keep ourselves updated. 3) Don't stick to only one source: Major ways to move to the USA and Europe include shifting internally from the respective company or applying directly, obtaining a student visa, as well as trying to apply as a TA for the professors there. #PWIOI #physicswallah #MentorConnects

I'm gonna reveal myself..... yes... This is my story From Chasing Marks to Building Skills In school, I was always focused on getting top ranks and perfect grades. It was my main goal from KG to 12th grade. But when I started college, I realized there’s more to success than just grades. I shifted my focus to developing skills, gaining real-world experience, and pursuing internships. This change helped me grow beyond academics and work towards my bigger dreams. Now, I see it clearly: it’s not just about how high your grades are but about how you apply what you learn and the opportunities you seize. It’s about crafting skills and chasing dreams that truly matter. Mention what type of students are you in your school days? #Linkedincontents #skills LinkedIn Guide to Creating
